The crew from Bunch Law Firm had a great time at A Fistful of Hollers presented by CaringPlace of the Shoals! We were proud to support an organization doing meaningful work for families in our community.

A Place That Feels Like Home: Supporting CaringPlace of the Shoals

Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or age-related challenges can feel like carrying a backpack full of bricks through a thunderstorm. Families often balance work, caregiving, medical appointments, and the emotional weight that comes with watching someone they love struggle with memory loss or daily activities.

That is why organizations like CaringPlace of the Shoals are so important to our community.

CaringPlace is a nonprofit Adult Day Service program dedicated to serving adults with memory loss related to Alzheimer’s disease and other disorders, as well as older adults who may be frail or functionally impaired. More than just a care facility, CaringPlace creates an environment where participants can socialize, stay active, and experience genuine connection throughout the day.

Participants enjoy activities designed to stimulate both the mind and spirit, including music, art, fitness, reminiscing activities, games, and opportunities to build friendships. The atmosphere is welcoming, engaging, and filled with moments that bring smiles to both clients and their families.

One of the most comforting aspects for caregivers is knowing their loved one is surrounded by trained and compassionate professionals. CaringPlace’s on-site staff includes a director, registered nurse, personal care assistants, certified nursing assistants, and activity leaders who work together to provide attentive support and meaningful interaction.

Using Montessori-inspired dementia programming, the team focuses on creating a sense of purpose and belonging for each participant. This approach helps reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation while encouraging confidence, social interaction, and improved quality of life. For many families, that support becomes a lifeline.

Organizations like CaringPlace depend heavily on community awareness, donations, volunteers, and local support to continue serving families in the Shoals area. Whether you choose to donate, volunteer your time, attend events, or simply share their mission with others, every bit of support matters.

Attorney Robert Bunch of Bunch Law Firm proudly serves as one of the board members supporting CaringPlace and its mission to care for some of the community’s most vulnerable individuals.

Sometimes the greatest gift we can give families is knowing they are not walking this road alone. CaringPlace helps make that possible every single day.
